Gary King qualified as an Environmental Health Officer in 1992 and worked in Local Government at Tendring District Council, specialising in noise and pollution, until he joined The Sharps Redmore Partnership in September 2007. During his time at Tendring DC, Gary was manager of the pollution team, responsible for the day to day running of the team. Gary has wide experience in statutory noise nuisance cases, from domestic, commercial and industrial premises, including the service of noise abatement notices and where necessary taking direct enforcement action. He has also advised on noise related conditions for planning applications and premises licenses providing evidence at court and hearings where necessary. It was during this time that he obtained the Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control from Colchester Institute. He is a full member of the Institute of Acoustics. Since joining Sharps Redmore Gary has specialised in Environmental Noise.
