Tim Redmore specialises in architectural and building services acoustics. Following an introduction to acoustics during a degree in Building Engineering at Liverpool University Tim undertook an MSc and PhD in acoustic related topics in order to obtain an in depth knowledge of the subject. He has been consulting in acoustics for the past 20 years and was principal consultant in a large UK consultancy prior to forming the Sharps Redmore Partnership. During this time he has handled many large and prestigious projects both in the UK and abroad. It has always been his aim to give practical advice with due regard of the client's requirements. Tim has published a number of papers on building acoustics and has contributed to several books. He has also been involved with a large number of lectures on acoustics to architects, services consultants, manufacturers and other consultants both in the UK and overseas.
