BSc (Hons), AMIOA
Ed studied Audio and Music Technology at Anglia Ruskin University and graduated in 2018, during his studies he developed a great interest in Acoustics. Ed completed the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control at London South Bank University in 2020.
Ed started work aged 16 in a Café at a local country estates gardens and arboretum. He then changed roles and decided to join their horticulture team, which he continued to work with alongside his studies at university. After completing his degree, he joined our team as an acoustic technician where he developed his skills and progressed into a consultant.
Ed’s degree touched the surface of acoustics and sparked an interest for him. Since joining the team Ed has expanded his knowledge further by completing the IOA Diploma. Ed undertakes a variety of projects at Sharps Redmore whilst mainly focusing on building acoustics and vibration monitoring.
Outside of work Ed is an avid Petrol-head, working on his project car when he can and participating in track days and road trips. When he isn’t behind the wheel Ed is usually playing his guitars and recording songs with his Essex based rock band.
