The £200M development opened in 2014 as part of the regeneration of central Telford. The scheme included an 11 screen Cineworld cinema and Premier Inn both over a number of restaurant units, all set around a central piazza.

The location of the hotel on a public square with restaurants and other leisure facilities meant that careful consideration of noise from patrons in these areas had to be considered to meet the hotel operator’s onerous requirements.

Sharps Redmore provided a full scope of services for the various aspects of the scheme and the locating of both the hotel and cinema over other demises required comprehensive acoustic design to ensure good levels of protection for both tenants.
