Education

Alex studied Graphic Design at Anglia Ruskin, graduating in 2022. During his studies, he decided that he had an interest in acoustics and he is currently waiting to start the Institute of Acoustics Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.

Work History

Alex started working at 13 selling food at his local football club, Cambridge United. Since then he has worked in retail and logistics with a brief part-time stint at Sharps Redmore back in 2017. Alex Joined Sharps Redmore full-time in 2021 with the intention of becoming a third-generation Metcalfe at Sharps Redmore.

Work Experience

As a third-generation Metcalfe, Alex was exposed to Acoustics from a young age and has often been there for Keith to bounce ideas off, giving him good working knowledge of Acoustic principals long before he joined us.

Plus

Outside of work Alex spends time working on various business ventures. When he does decide to stop working, you’ll find him at the gym or socialising with friends.
