Phil studied Music and Computer Sound Design at the University of Surrey before enrolling on the MSc in Environmental and Architectural Acoustics in 2010 following completion of the IOA Diploma.
After a short stint at a noise and vibration specialist manufacturer shortly after completing his BMus (Hons), Phil joined RBA Acoustics in London where he was involved in a wide range of different building related schemes. Relocating to New Zealand in 2012 to work on large road and mining infrastructure projects, Phil returned to the UK in 2014 to take on a more senior role with involvement in commercial, residential, educational and hospitality schemes amongst others.
Several years on in 2021 an opportunity arose to take the logical next step in his career by joining Sharps Redmore.
As can be seen from his educational background, sound and music is a passion predominately Jazz from the 1970’s, he plays musical instruments and searches for old records when time permits. With a desire for experiences and to learn new cultures Phil is well travelled having spent time in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.
Aside from this, he is a keen American Football enthusiast
