BSc (Hons). MSc. AMIOA
Michael studied Music Technology at an undergraduate level at Leeds Beckett University. Upon completion of his undergraduate he was keen to gain more knowledge and went on to study a Masters degree in Audio Engineering, also at Leeds Beckett.
During his time at Leeds Beckett, Michael worked part time alongside his studies at a few different jobs. Throughout his undergraduate period he found himself working at The Original Oak near Headingley cricket stadium.
Michael would then go on to work for Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunal Service (HMCTS) alongside his MSc studies. The role was an administrative position and better suited the set structure of his university requirements than the Oak.
Michael’s studies at university led him to become interested in pursuing a career in acoustics. He is now putting his university knowledge into practice and further expanding his skills alongside Andy Newell in the Sharps Redmore North England office.
In his spare time Michael enjoys playing and watching sport and listening to music. He is the captain of Burley RUFC’s 2nd XV based just outside of Leeds. Michael also enjoys going to gigs and festivals of a variety of music.
